The oil filter helps remove contaminants from your car engine’s oil that can accumulate over time as the oil keeps your engine clean.
Basic tasks of the oils used in engines;
-To lubricate the moving parts of the engine
-To avoid friction losses and wearing
-To prevent the accumulation of carbon wastes
-To ensure cooling of pistons
-To neutralize the combustion acids formed during combustion and to minimize the erosion of acids.
The importance of clean motor oil
Clean motor oil is very critical because if the oil were left unfiltered, it could become saturated with tiny, hard particles that can wear surfaces in your engine. This dirty oil can wear the oil pump’s machined components and damage the bearing surfaces in the engine.
If you use suitable oil filter;
A good quality of oil layer is formed in the cylinder liner. This prevents any wear of the sleeve and the piston rings.
Prevent adhesive waste in the piston ring slots.
Reduced bearing wear.
It prevents the formation of sticky wastes on the cylinder surfaces and valves.
All moving parts inside the motor are cleaned through the process.
White metal, brass and bronze particles from the piston, piston rings and liners are prevented from entering the engine again during operation.
